Take a day trip to Ocracoke, accessible only by ferry, airplane or boat. Jockey's Ridge is a short car trip away. The kids will get a kick out of watching the charter boats come in at Pirate's Cove Marina.
The community pool will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily from May 1 to October 2, 2010, depending on weather. Parking is avaialble for 5 cars. This Outer Banks neighborhood is located near Mile Post 15 in Nags Head.
